WolfMark Reader is a released macOS app built with privacy-conscious defaults. This policy explains how the app handles files, purchases, and information.

Information We Collect

WolfMark Reader opens, displays, edits, and saves Markdown, text, or JSON files that you choose on your Mac.

The app does not require you to create an account with Dancing Wolf Software. We do not operate analytics, advertising, or tracking systems in WolfMark Reader.

Local Files

WolfMark Reader may read and write the files you open or create in the app. Those files remain in their existing filesystem locations unless you choose to save or move them elsewhere.

Because WolfMark works with ordinary local files, the privacy of your documents also depends on where you store them, such as local disk, iCloud Drive, external drives, shared folders, or other sync services you use.

Purchases and Online Services

WolfMark Reader is designed to be local/offline by default. Optional Tip Jar purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store; Dancing Wolf Software does not receive your full payment card details.
