WolfMark
Working utility-app milestone
WolfMark is a native macOS Markdown reader/editor for files that already live where they belong. It is built for a filesystem-first workflow: open any Markdown file, read it comfortably, edit it quickly, and save it back exactly where it lives.
Purpose
WolfMark is designed for Markdown files that already live in project folders, shared drives, and local workflows. It is not a vault, sync service, or Obsidian clone; it is a good lamp for Markdown files already in the right rooms.
Current capabilities
The current milestone opens Markdown and text files into a single macOS workspace, supports Reader and Source modes, saves file-backed documents, navigates headings, and renders rich Markdown blocks locally.
Reader mode uses a bundled local editor surface for editable tables, fenced code/config/text blocks, and Mermaid diagrams without depending on a remote web service.
Privacy
WolfMark is intended to work locally with files you choose to open. It does not require a Dancing Wolf Software account and is not designed around cloud sync, analytics, advertising, or tracking.
Read the WolfMark Privacy Policy.
